BEETROOT SALAD




Ingredients:
1 medium sized beetroot
4 tbsp mayonnaise
5-6 walnuts
Method:
Boil beetroot, peel and grate.
Mix well with mayonnaise.
Garnish with walnuts
Ready to serve cold

 My version Salad
  • Place Beetroots in pot and cover with water
  • Place lid on pot and bring to a boil
  • Set flame to "low" and cook for about 40 minutes
  • You know it's ready when you prod it with a fork and the fork goes in easily and the peel comes off by hand
  • Pour off water and let the beetroot cool down enough to handle
  • Peel the Beetroots. (You can use a knife but it is easiest
